Hi, I’m Sally the face behind Home Soil.
My love for gardening began when we started creating our gardens from scratch here at Koorinda Park. What started as a simple desire to make our house feel like a home quickly turned into a real passion for plants, garden design and creating spaces that feel welcoming and inviting.
As our garden grew, so did my interest in learning more. Wanting to deepen my knowledge and understanding of garden design, I completed a Garden Design course through the Australian Institute of Garden Design at the end of 2025.
Since then, my passion for gardening has only continued to grow and naturally led me to wanting to help others create gardens they love too. Gardening never feels like a job to me, it brings me so much joy and being able to share that with others feels incredibly special.
My style leans relaxed, welcoming and thoughtfully put together, with a love for timeless planting, cottage-inspired gardens and spaces designed to be enjoyed by the whole family.

Site Visit
We’ll either meet in person or discuss your space virtually where we’ll chat through your ideas, goals, layout and overall vision for the garden. This is where we start bringing everything together and exploring what will work best for your home and lifestyle.
Receive Your Garden Guide
Following our consultation, I’ll thoughtfully put together your personalised digital Garden Guide filled with notes, ideas, plant suggestions, recommendations and inspiration discussed during our visit. Giving you a clear vision and direction moving forward.
